Yamaha ytm 225 and yfm 250 questions

Will a yfm250 cylinder fit on a ytm 225? also check out this on ebay

If memory serves me,the 225 and the 250 both share the same stroke;the difference between the two is the bore.

It very possible for that swap to work..Keep us posted.

Hey Jugernaut,or any :? one, Do you know if the stroke is the same on the moto 4 350 as the 225? I have both, and the 350 is way to big to fit in the 225 frame, but what about top end only?

Two totaly different engines,sorry.


But if it is any consolation,the Moto-4 shares the same high-revving top-end design as the Warrior/Wolverine;pretty cool!

ya so does anyone know for sure if it is a direct bolt on. Also, does anyone has a 250cc jug and piston?

I know the 230cc bear tracker cylinder will fit. Its the EXACT same engine. I THINK the 250m will fit. The motor is pretty the same, but the case may have to be carved out, since the jug could be larger.
