recently got my 85 R back needless to say its blown up.....a freind recently sold a TRX with 310 in it and gave me a extra piston he had correct overbore and all:Bouncesaves me some money,however when compariong the 2 pistons this is what i find:
on mine i had to run a spacer plate to get the correct port alighnment,compared to his the pin height differance is the exact amount of the spacer i had to run on mine,no big deal that would allow me to run w/o the spacer.however when comparing the intake side of the piston mine has a half moon removed from the bottom of the skirt and the window near the ringland,his the skirt is flat all the way across the bottom and only has a window at the height that the halfmoon was machined out of mine,and no window up at the ring land???any ideas i can text a pic if the 2 side by side if some one wants to pm me their cell #
