I have an atc90 with a brake drum that is rough on the inside. VERY rough. i have new shoes, and everything else seems to be in ok shape, but i am afraid of chewing through my new shoes in just a few stops with how my brake drum looks. has anyone else tried to use a rough drum before? is there anywhere where i can still find a new brake drum for this?

Try to clean it up the best you can with sandpaper, you can knock the real heavy rust off until you see mostly shiny metal again then install your shoes. the shoes will polish it up within a few rides. I would at least try to fix it before i would spend 100 bucks on a new drum.
