Nice job !!! 82 is a great year and parts are easy to find except for the tank LOL but you could always use an older 110 or 90 tank on it .

Looks like a nice start. I like the look of those rear rims/tires but I bet they don't give a very soft ride!

Let me know if you want to get rid of those rims and tires! Nice start to your project though!

I did my last two 90s with por-15, good stuf. I also did two seats, with the travelcade seat cover, my 90s took the am106, got em for $15 ea, discontinued, but your 110 takes the am116.

the rims have 3 sets of holes, the tires have the beginning of dry rot on them, I am buying AMS steel repos to put back to stock look with turf tamers in the rear. I would like to have front suspoension on it, 200s or 200x....not set on either yet. Picking up the 200x front off Raffa's 200x racer he is parting on wednesday, and have a set of 200s forks that i pick up tomorrow. There is an identical twin to this on my basement to be restored rather than just cleaned up for my son.

need to locate a seat mount yet, and decided that clark has the best choice for me and a tank. I puchased 3 tanks from them tonight for 89.99 each. I still need a set of plastic for the twin, a seat pan, foam, and a bunch of other stuff, but that will be for the 100% complete from scratch restoration where I will have time to hunt down NEW NOS parts. I intend to make that one (the 2nd machine) a showpiece as though it is still brand new and has never been even started. Then it can go in my shop for the customers to enjoy seeing.

More Updates.

After fiding out the warrior hubs work on this, I broke down and bought blackline hyper beadlocks for it (yes, with red rings). I intend to put 18x8-8 turf tamers on it. That will keep the sporty look, but still have the knobby traction.
Up front:
I want to add front suspension. I was told that the 200x front is a slide on/bolt on, as well as the 200s. Any input?

Also, I got all 3 clarke tanks, (yes off of e-gay) as factory seconds, from a private guy, they are shot. Sent back with a refund coming hopefully. I still need a gas tank, BAD. If it needs to be kremed, thats fine, as long is the rust inside isn't whats holding it together.
Also:
I need to find a new fender mount. Any one have one laying around?

Some one give me some light mods I can do to this thing. (Keep in mind, I am putting my son on this. Thats why I am simply freshening it up rather than restoring it.)

I wouldnt mind finding a set of used rear plastics for this. I really hate to use the original ones considering the age and condition they are in. Any one know if they made black ones at anytime for this? And someone mentioned DC tank covers, where do I look to find input on this.

I know you most likely have 15 other people bugging you about this. But If you decide to use some different fenders and rear rim/ tire combo ,keep me in mind. I'm looking for a really nice set of none scratched fenders for my 82 110. And those tires/rims would look great on my 350x.lol.

200x front end wont work but the 200s will .
I would let your son ride it a bit before modding it .

acid bath. and I have a trick to make it look new. high heat engine silver. spray it on, let it set for 8-10 seconds, and wipe it off. it leaves a residue that gives exactly what you see above.

I also have a nerf bar idea in the making for this. stay tuned for that. triangle pattern replicating raffa's, with a long pair of bars giving a 10" rear bar out back. on each end of the nerf bars a turn down hook to prevent tip over. will provide exceptionally limited ground clearance, but it will keep him from getting seriously hurt while learning. i will fab something up soon.

let me know.
I would really love to do this entire machine in black or white, but as far as I know, there is only red body work for it.

Well for the rear fenders on ebay occasionally there sets of white ones but you have to look really hard for em. And have to get em the minute they're listed or because they go real fast. Now for the front find a US90 metal front fender and just re-paint it white.(Have done that several times.)

not much of an update as of yet. (Took off for 10 days to Illinois..lol) Well back now, still needing to run to Raffa's to pick up the 200x forks. (hoping by this weekend) I talked to MrClean, he is going to work his magic on the plastics for me as soon as I have the extra cash. The engine is once again out of the machine. I am going to strip it and have the cased PC'd black, and polish the sides and carb intake and carb. while the engine is off I am going to work on the nerf bars. then comes the rebuild again. I picked up 2 pair of almost mint 200s forks from Springfield IL while I was out there and 2 other nice little scores. (which I have to go pick those 2 up yet come labor day) I bought a pair of us90's, 2 for 200.00 both will need some work, but well worth it.

Hyper wheels are in and I went with Scorpion's rather than tamers for tires. I still need to get a double BL for the front yet and mock it up with an axle and get a tire for it.

The rear plastics are with my graphics girl now to have accurate repro's made to install when I get the fenders restored.
I had ordered a new clarke from g&h, haven't heard another word about it yet. Still undecided on the seat, but my thoughts are:

black with a rear seat bump
repro of original
(what I really want) Mrs Mosh to work her magic and made me a repro seat in black with the markings of the "ATC" from the 250r on the sides of it, just waiting to hear back from them yet.

(More updates soon.)

no I ended up with far bigger projects and ended up selling some parts from this to help fund another build. I will get back to it eventually. Shorty if your still interested in the fenders, 100+ shipping

What acid product did you spray on then wipe off after 8-10 sec? Where do you get it? Looks really good

Acid Bath? I can't find info on it. would I need to dip my engine in it? I want to clean up my 110 but don't want to sandpaper off rust and metal
