vin decoding for 250r

I need help decoding the atc 250r i have. I assume its a 82 but when i used the decoder that i found on a post here it came up with 1980??:wondering
Oh the vin number is JH3TB060000112962.

Look at the 10th digit
G=86
F=85
E=84
D=83
C=82

I'm guessing your 10th digit is a "C" not a "0"
Look really closely at the VIN, use a magnify glass to help you out as well.

I would bet that is the case also. You may have to clean some grime off it as well

ya thats what my local dealership said the 10th digit should be a d or c but it looks like a 0 so maybe its a d.

i believe its an 82 it has a c at the 10th number or letter.
