Hey fellas I havent been on 3ww for ages and thought id share where im up to with the ol laydown 250r 70.Ive finally ironed out all the bugs and the motor is now runnin strong. So i thought now its going good i might pretty it up alittle i ordered some stickers off peewee pinstriper and painted the tank and made a few little odds and ends heres some photos of where im at got a heap more painting and tidying up to do but just wanted to show ya's.Also it now has a suspended frontend makes it alot more user freindly but if i want to go back to standard 70 frontend it takes about half hour and its all converted back.

If you don't mind me asking,

How does the oil/gas mixture properly lube the piston and wall? Does it lube it naturally, like it would if the motor was sitting upright? Just wondering...

That is really impressive, I guess you dont want to wait 60 or 70 years to see what happens when you die huh? (lol)
good luck!!

Very nice. For others looking, yes there are videos of it on YouTube. I have looked at it a thousand times.

2 strokes can opertate in any orientation, just look at chain saw, weed eaters, ect. The transmission on the other hand, I don't know how that will handle the fluid change, Probably fine, I'm sure they factored in people wheeling all day on the 250r.

Glad to see you back. I love the improvements, and I am very jealous. That is one badass 70. I wish I could take that thing for a spin!
