I have a prolem with my rear brakes. i was tightening my hubs while my friend was on the brake and i guess one of the bolts were loose and the caliper came part way off the disc, so i took it off and tried to put it back on but the piston in the caliper was all the way out! i couldnt even get it on the disc never mind the pads, ive hit it with a hammer and used a pry bar to push it back in and it still hasnt moved. Anyone got any suggestions. I need help soon becuz riding seasons almost here and if i need to buy a new caliper i need to buy it now!! please help!

I use a c-clamp to push the brake piston in on mine.

+1. Remove the reservoir cap and remove a bit of brake fluid if necessary, then use a C-Clamp to push the piston(s) in.

It isn't the piston,it's the 2 slide pins so the bakes wear evenly.

You can heat it, beat it, vice grip it or drill a holl in the back to press it out, then thread it to put in a grease fitting or set screw to cover the threads......

If you don't have the tools to do it, I can do it.

a front caliper off a 83-84 r or 83-85 200x will bolt right in with out any mods, plus you dont have to eff around with the parking brake any more and they are farley cheap :D works great on my 84r
