Straighten a rim?

[tri again]

Following my sx the other day, the left rim wobbles out
say. an inch or so.

I blocked the frame up and the axle is ok.

Thinking about putting a jack between the trailer hitch
and a 2x4 against the rim to try and tweak it back to straight.

and Then bend the axle?
maybe it will work? Ruin the axle? Both?
Find a new hobby?
