Hi i was woundering if you tecate guys can help?Can a 1985 tecate engine fit in the 1984 tecate frame?Thanks:wondering

I don't see any reason why it won't... The majority of 84/85 parts are interchangeable.

Yes it can, they are identical.

Ok ill let you in. Im geting a tecate 1984 and its in need of some t.l.c but im happy as can be. Been looking for one for a spell and now i found one haaaaa boy!!! So back on track i found a 85 tecate engine and it ready to go so i was thinking of droping it in. Im new to this all and triying to learn how to do the pic things. When i get it down ill show you guys my build wish me luck
