fork swap 185s

is there anyway i could pull the forks out of a 185s, and replace them with a set from like a 200x, or something with suspension Thanks

Sure but not easily. Welding or machining will be required.

best bet is the 185s with front suspension or a 200s front that will bolt rite on

i had a atc 200m with a tecate fornt end on it with little modification

there is a thread "200x front end on 1982 185s" on .org where I posted a thread on how to change the necks. Remember that the necks have the VIN on them.

This is an easy swap if you have basic welding skills and a donor 200x or 83-84 250R. You will need the frame neck as well as the complete front end.

dammit ! i would like to do something with my 200s for better front suspenion. i got a complete front end from a 225dx, just missing axle. i guess id have to swap necks from the dx frame as well?
