Hey,
i got my big bore kit used, in "useable condition" so he says.
so here it is, piston is 72.8mm or 2.872"
bore is 73.3mm or 2.892"
piston to wall clearance is 0.5mm or 0.020"
now that should be close to 0.004" from what i have read. correct?
another issue is the copper or brass particles inbeded in the head, i believe they are from what i believe is the thrust washer on either side of the connecting rod, on the crank end... the connecting rod does have some side to side movement but no up and down play.
does anyone know what the max bore is in these things and the next size?
