I use a socket and a piece of 3/8-16 threaded rod/nuts with some big sockets and washers.........

Same as ^^^^^, but I had 1/2" rod. I found also that a 19mm socket was the perfect size and used a big vise to get things moving.

When the new ones go in should they just slide right in?

Hey DC.....I seen Roscow setup......what did your setup look like with the 350x swinger being solid all the way across and not 2 sides with the middle accesible?? I have an idea how it works....got pics or could you explain a little more.....?? Thanks

I mounted my swinger in a vice. Then used a long 3/8 extension with a 14mm chrome craftsman socket. It will catch on the bottom of the bearing lip. After that it was BFH time. Once one of the bearings is out you can step up to a larger socket and pound out the other side.

Sorry I forgot the X was a full tube, I didn't take pics when I did that one, those were from a 250R, but you get the idea of using a pc of all thread as a press.

My bearings were destroyed so it was mainly pieces coming out lol. I had a zerk fittings put in to grease periodically.

When it's the whole length, I just use a 12" long threaded rod, keeping it centered and pull the new bearings in. To pull the old ones out, I just have a sleeve and keep tightening the nut with my air gun until there out.

MAKE SURE - You only press/pull them in on the stamped side of the bearing and that the socket you use is just a hair small than the ID of the swingarm bore. If it is to small, you will crush that thin cage and the bearing s will be junk once you place in the tube.

Don't ask me how I know
