Its alittle rough but it was cheap , complete, and has a title. It will be nice when done.

where did you find it? I live in Snohomish, wa and I have never seen one for sale up here?

It was on craigslist a couple years ago. A friend went and looked at it back then but passed, turns out the guy never sold it but didnt repost it either. I got it for $500, I useally wouldnt pay that much for a bike that didnt run but they are hard to find up here and I already have another built engine so most of the stuff that needs fixed is just cosmetic. The engine in the bike needs a top end and the kick start slips but was a runner before he parked it. I cant wait to get it going.

I feel it's a good find. Tecate's value is going up a tad. (I've been to pro rodeo's in Enumclaw & a bull riding once.) People are willing to pay that for just a bunch of parts, so I feel you faired well. And ya, they seem rare in the Northern U.S..

Thanks, I cant wait to get it going. I am going to start ordering parts in the next couple days, I have been looking up parts for the past week or so and getting a plan together of what I wanted. Looks like I am going to be ordering a Jemco pipe for it soon and I still need to get the new engine ready also. Getting Excited!!

What color are you going to do your frame?

I havent decided what color I want for the frame yet. I was thinking of maybe something like a hammered silver or maybe a green or blue color. I need to go to the powder coating guy and have a look at what he has.
