I was immediately suspicious when they started saying that it was confirmed by DNA tests. A proper DNA test can't be done just anywhere, most definitely not in the Pakistani desert; so the tissues would have to have been shipped somewhere and then tested. Testing itself takes 3-5 days at a good lab. Of course it stands to reason they would use the best they could get to quickly, but it still seems like the results came very fast. Not to mention they would have to track down the comparative tissues from his family and get them to the same place. Just stating that it seems unlikely to me that it could be completed as they say.

Then the deal with burying his body at sea....seriously? It was stated that the State department thought it would be difficult to find a nation that would accept his remains on their soil. Ummm...yeah, but there were obviously nations that were willing to accept him and his lackeys alive on their soil. We sure found a place to bury Saddam....several days after he was executed. And it's so damnably convenient that the remains were immediately disposed of in a way that would make any future inquest absolutely impossible.

There are a few reasons why they said it would have been hard to find a country to take the corpse; 1.) They do not want to make him more of a so-called martyr then he will already become, 2.) no country wants to get nuked out of retaliation from the monsters for violating their sacred death rituals.

A D.N.A test can be conducted almost anywhere the US Army, Navy Air Force etc is. The labs our Military has at their disposal are top notch, and it would have been pre-determined to have the capability to test OBL's DNA in this case. They new for quite some time that they would be attacking that palace.

I do not watch the news or read the newspaper. I bury my head in the sand. I do not vote, I choose not to involve myself if politics and current events, and that is of my own accord. I can appreciate everyone's views on this, but come on. Have we become that caleous that we can't believe anything were told. I would have loved to seen the body and have concrete proof, but how what kind of reaction would that have caused? I think this was handled in the best possible manner for OUR country, and yes I believe they could have done a DNA test before burying him at sea. It's not like this was a spur of the moment event. They knew they were dealing with a time sensitive issue and I am sure they made the necessary plans to be as efficient as possible.

I have heard a report that the SEALS were ordered to shoot him unless he was naked for fear that he may have had a suicide vest on under any clothing he was wearing....Sounds like a good enough reason to me.
