First of all, does anyone have any specs on the '85 350X stator? The reason I ask, I am building a custom rear tiallight for my X, and I need to know the voltage and power output of the stator at the tailight pigtail to effectively size my resistance. Any help would be appreciated. Oh, by the way, the new tailight is going to utilize about 150 LEDs. 8)
Second, there is a 1985 Tri-Z for sale somewhere near me. I inspected everything on the bike and it looks good. All of the plastics are nice and uncracked and not even scratched with some shine still left. The bike is completely stock, one owner. Starts on 1st or 2nd kick. Top end has 45 minutes on rebuild. Engine appears to be in very good shape and it runs really nice. Radiators are good, water pump is finctioning correct, shocks all appear to be charged correctly, and the suspension and rims all are in nice shape. The only thing I noticed is that the frame has some paint rubbed off in the boot area, and the engine is missing some paint, and the exhaust is missing a clamp bolt near the seat. Oh yeah, the seat has a hole about the size of a dime in it, and besides that, the trike is in good shape. What would be a guestimate of the value of this bike? I did start it and ride it and it runs really well, shifts good, and has excellent throttle response. Just to let you know, the asking price is $1000, and I am sure I could walk in with $900 and take it, but I am unsure if it is worth it or not. I don't know much about Yamahas.
Thanks for any input.
