My local repair Guy Dosnt think I should attempt to change my own rear end bearings. I understand they can be a pain sometimes. So I said OK you can do it but im going to take the rear end out and bring it to you. The bike is apart mostly right now for brakes etc . Im looking for a diagram of how it comes apart. Never had a shaft drive wheeler before. Not sure what holds the shaft in place etc. If i splitt the shaft housing does it slide out like a regular drive shaft? I work on power tools for a living Im inclined enough to fix stuff. Is it worth it to try or just let the shop do it?

Right click and save it to your computer, then open it.

You need Adobe reader, if you don't have it.

OK its apart but got the wrong bearing kit. One shaft side is a 6008 the other side I have no idea what it is. One bearing stayed in the housing one came out on the axle. Two hits with a 10 pound sledge it slid right out. Of course I Protected the threads. Hopefully I can get the right parts Monday.

Anyone know what size the brake side bearing is? Its larger then the 6008 for the shaft side. I got my bearing kit from All Balls . Hopefully just missed buy a couple numbers in the book.
