I have a YTM225 that I got running last year but then winter hit. I just started up yesterday and got it running great. Watched my buddy drive it down the street and it turns out that the axle is bent on the left side.

It is a shaft drive so I'm concerned that its going to be a royal pain in the ass to take apart to get the axle bent back into shape.

Just how hard is this job going to be? And what is all involved in doing this?

It does not have reverse.

ask DC (dirtcrasher) he also straightens them. You could buy a parts bike 225's are a dime a dozen out my way.

Well I don't have the money for another trike. I'm just wondering how hard it will be to take the axle out of the rear pumpkin on the YTM225 so that I c an send it to Dirtrcrasher. I took the hub off alreaady, the hub itself is badly bent. The axle just has a slight tweak, much less than I thought since the hub itself is badly bent.

Maybe just change the hub for now? It would be a hell of a lot better.... J.M.O
