Bought this trike a month back.
New carb, new kill switch, and new rear shock, she runs great and starts on first kick.
I spent the evening bringing some shine back to her with a few polishing compounds and elbow grease.

I replaced the bulb in the headlight but it is still very dim, what is the most common cause for a dim headlight on this bike?

Low RPM. Headlights have a dedicated circuit that get more power at higher RPM. Now did you replace it with the bulb recommended from the manual? The light may be drawing all the amps the bike is putting out. This could be more than the bike can handle.

Try disconnecting the tail light and see if it helps.

Check all wires and grounds if that doesnt do it its prob a bad lighting coil .

you could have oil or dirt on the stator/flywheel causing weak output of your lighting coil. or a corroded wire somewhere.
