200X Kickstarter drive/driven gear sizes/ratio

I am workin on my 83 200x tranny now, and I see in the manual that the drive/driven kickstarter gears were changed after 83. The drive is smaller and driven is larger. any of you know if this makes it EZer to kick, I would guess thats why they changed it. I was thinking of throwing a 84-85 gearset in there if it helps, thanks
