Funny you should say that, "they wouldn't work on it." Was it because its a Three Wheeler? I noticed when I brought my 350x in to a "30 year Honda Mechanic" Service Station for the clutch they wrote for the Model "TRX 350X" instead of ATC 350X and made sure I left without it running when I drove it in there! Just a hunch, I'm not a conspiratist, I think??? LOL You are in a big area, I'm sure you should find someone, I would stick to other members opinions though on who to trust and NOT trust! Hope it goes well!

Tim, that is exactly what they said. They said it was illegal for them to work on it, even though the same shop worked on it about 5 years ago. The problem I am having is that it misses and cuts out at high speeds. I have a new carb on it that helped with idle. I used to have to crank it and run it with the choke on. Now it cranks and idles beautifully. New spark plug and new gas. Some have said it could be electrical some, said it could be fuel. I haven't had time to work on it due to my work travel schedule. I guess I will just have to brake down and spend some time with my baby!

I'm in the same boat! I need to get some "learning" and play with mine. To much rain and to many appointments to catch a break! They aren't illegal as we know, I register mine, I have three 350X's and all registered with plates. We only have to insure them in NY if we take them off of our own property. My Big Red was registered and insured also. I'm not a mechanic but would suggest checking the fuel from the petcock, see if you have good flow there, then check the bottom of your bowl where the drain screw is at the bottom of the carb. Back it out slowly and place a white rag under it or the line and see if any sediment comes out. Rust, particles, etc. If so flush it out, add new gas, back out the screw again and see if it cleared up and give it a whirl! The screw is at the very bottom of the carb. Hope this helps!

Tim, Thanks for the suggestion. I am gonna play with it this weekend and see if I can get it to go.
