air box 350X questions

First, what's the difference in 85 and 86 air boxes? mine is missing air box, intake and all. do i have to run one?
Will an 85 fit?

That depends, do you just LOVE cleaning your carb every other minute? An airbox and intake boot is nice, but some people run a filter straight off the carb. I'd really recommend the box though, it protects you from all sorts of nasty stuff wanting to ruin your riding day.

Yes, it fits and it's best to run one unless your in a desert with "outerwares" on there..........
