So Im starting to restore my 1985 BR 250es. I will give a little history of my time with this 3 legged beauty. My Grandpa bought it brand new in 85, the only thing he used it for was to get the mail and irrigate his hay feilds. I would go visit my Grandparents every summer in Idaho. It was then that i was introduced to the BR. I started riding it when I was probably 8 or 9, I was told no higher then 2nd gear, I would pop her into 3rd, lol. Fast forward 8 years and thats when we moved to Idaho next to my Grandparents. I continued to ride the BR, my Grandpa new how much i loved riding it so he gave the BR to me. Talk about a happy kid, he called it my 3 legged horse, (which I still refer to it as) so i then proceeded to ride the piss out of that thing, if I could go back in time I would go and slap myself, cause if i didnt abuse her so much i would of had a pristine BR. Oh well, live and learn. Anyways jump ahead 6 years and i move to Utah, I still had her and still rode her, then i moved to the apartment complex that I work at and no room for my 3 legged horse. So I parked it at my families farm and there it has sat for the past couple of years, a week ago I went and recued her, now I have the space to work on her. Anyways sorry about the book, I will post pics and shut up now. Thanks.
