A good buddy of mine sold me a 60" Eagle plow and a new in the box Superwinch 2000# for $100. I'm thinking of making the bracketry simular to theone Thorpe built. 60" of plow seems way too wide for the Red, so I plan on cutting 4" off each side to end up with a 52" plow.I'm totally stoked. Already making the winch bracket, had to take a break to eat something, and type.Funny, of all the guys that I ride the ice with, Wheather it be Trikes, bikes, or golf carts, no one has a plow. Always a pain in the ass borrowing a golf cart with a plow on it that someone knows to get the tracks plowed and maintaine them. This coming winter it'll all be done Big Red style.

Good thing on cutting it down. I was gonna say that 60 inches seems quite a lot for a big red. I imagine that maybe even 48 might be better.

I'm not realy positive on what length to cut it down to. What length is the Cycle Country plow for the Red? My plow will be used almost exclusively for plowin ice tracks. Lots of tight turns so I want decent coverage while turning. On the pus side I ot the winch mount plate done, paint is drying.

How are you going to mount the plow fram to the Big Red? I have an extra set of cycle country brackets if interested?

Very cool! My blade is 46" wide... Seems to do well, and the BR tracks nicely inside the cut... (46" can be alot for the BR to handle at times...)
