81-84 250r cool head

Hi guys I have a quick quesion for all of you. What does a DG cool head for a 1981-1984 honda 250r go for? Thanks Aaron

If you look on Ebay, normally for one is good shape it's 250 to almost 400, not counting shipping.


I have one in good shape interior wise, that could use a bit of file work and a new coat of paint(it'd look nearly new with that), with 4 ping marks(much less than you normally see), that I'd sell for 200 bones shipped. It's for an FL250, but if the R is a four bolt, it'll bolt on. Same head if the bolt pattern is correct.

the R has 6 holes so it wouldnt work. Thanks for the help Aaron

I was looking at the fl250 head and the 250r head there isn't much difference between them. The FL head can be drilled by the look of it to have 6 holes, but it also has bigger cooling fins on the left side because the FL didn't have the pipe so close to the head
