First question:

What are you talking about?????

There are many things that can be put back together wrong, or insterted backwards, the list is literally ENDLESS!

Did you turn it over after installing the cam wrong? If so you probably bent a valve or two.

What machine is this for? There are set ways for cams to go in, if you mess up, you can bend a valve, destroy a valve guide.

85 200x it was running when i put it back together but only for a few mins. then it stopped and wont run anymore i think i put the cam back in right but i want to confirm to make sure that isnt the problem. i think its the timming cause after i kick it a few times it backfires all crazy loud. when it was running for those few mins its sounded sooo quiet!! im going to take it back apart today but i need a set of steps to go off putting it back in as if you were just putting the cam chain in and you moved the cam the wrong way. how do i put it back to the way it was... again srry guys.
