my friend has a timberwolf it ran perfect until like last week when he brought it in and the next day it didn't start i think its the spark or cdi what do you think

I think Id gather a lot more information before running out and buying a CDI. You can start by pulling the plug, verfyfing spark, and replacing the plug.

man thats what i told him but he thinks its more than that so thats what i said,said he would go look at a new spark and plug today but ???????

check fuses too. i know my warrior is similar some and i had a fuse blow and it wouldnt start. also check the key. my key had a bad wire one time and would start again it could be many things other then the cdi. how old is the bike too check other wires too put some CRC marine lube in there too it helps displace water well good luck

i went over there today and we checked it out smelt like pure gas through the muffler when we hit the ignition(made halfway starting sound but sounded like it just couldn't make it) every time i asked him something else became wrong ? only could stay for about 5 min. then had to leave
by the way i think its a '95 year model
