Yup, it's rare. Now take that link down before somebody else sees it and snatches it up.
I've only saw on Commuter for sale, ever.

'Specially for 300 clams. If that was within 3 hours of me, my son would have a new trike to hall his lawn mowing stuff around town with.

They are not as rare as you think. There have been many that people that have shown on here. They have 3 wheels and an engine, but I would be hard pressed to call one a trike and be in the same league as an atc90/110. Buy it if you must, but in my opinion, you are better off saving your money for a much better machine.

My uncle had a couple of them on his farm in the eighties. He really liked them and they were very reliable for him. They just have one speed and a clutch setup similar to a snowmobile. He had one with a chain drive and a newer one with a differential if that one has the differential it would be a bonus. He says the chain setup wasn't that great but still worked because it had two chains or something. He also told me that commuter industries was later bought out and they stuck another axle on the back and a box and it became the first gator. Not sure if that is 100 percent true but it makes sense I can see some similarities.

My buddy had one of those! Man we laughed at that thing!!! His dad thought he got a great deal when compared to the Honda's or Yammies!!! At least he got to the trails in something! LOL! Although it almost killed him more than once!
One day while going down the center of a set of rail tracks his axle split in two and I actually saw a tire and half an axle pop pop out the side!!! He wiped out pretty hard on that one. We just jammed the axle back in and it held until he got home, but that was a slow drive back!
The belt would get wet in every little water hole and he would bag it to dry it out...watch out when it catches!!! Hmmmm maybe that's one reason the axle popped out? :))
To get more speed, he would reach down to the carb and pull the throttle linkage with his fingers to "open her up more"....guess the throttle never pulled the whole way. Problem was he was leaning on the side with only one hand on the handle bars...hit a good rut and...Yep you guessed it, massive wipe out!!!
For 300$ I'd buy that for nostalgia alone! LOL
