86 Tecate Ignition Problems

My new 86 T3 cranked yesterday three times and died while I was trying to get it warmed up and adjust the carb with the new smaller jet and pilot. I tried to re crank and it would not fire and never tried to start. Checked the spark and there was none. I put a new coil on and still no spark. How do I trouble shoot the CDI and stator or source. Is there someone I can call and diagnose the problem and they can sell me the parts to repair it?

You probably did, but if you just rejetted, did you check the plug to see if it was fouled? If you did, there are specs on checking the cdi and stator in the factory manual that I think is probably located on here in the literature section. If not I can scan in the electrical section of the manual if need me.
