My name is Joseph, I'm 23 and I'm a first time rider or owner of an off road vehicle. I've been doing alot of reading about trikes, tips, and what not.

I live in Vista,Ca .. Would be cool to meet up someday and ride with other trike riders.

Found this site during my time googling about trikes and trying to find a 9 digit vin decoder. Want to get the registration all squared away so I can go hit some open land, trails, or desert and get some run time in on the trike. Bought for $200 from a goped-scooter shop. As is with no papers, All I have for it is a bill of sale. The last green sticker on it is from June 09. Gonna get to the DMV and see of much late fees are, registerstration and a loss title form gonna cost me.

Just picked up my old new to me trike a couple days ago. Thing runs strong and in decent shape for a dinosaur.

Yamaha Tri moto 125... I think it is a 83, Not really sure. Have some pictures, your gonna have a good chuckle once you see how I got home.

They have rednecks in California too!!! Id say you did ok for $200 as long as there arent any major mechanical issues. There is a vin decoder on the old 3ww site. You can find a link there on the tool bar at the top of the page. Welcome.

Sure if polish/Mexican is redneck :)

Thing is in great shape. The scooter shop owner did work on it to get running in tip top shape for a customer. The customer never came back and picked it up. No returned phone calls or anything. Shop owner had it for 2'years before deciding to sell it.

All I did to it is make a aluminum cover to go over the the drive chain housing thing... Didnt take any pics if it yet.

The trikefest would be awesome, too dang far away. I would have to get a tralier too. Dunno what the laws are about having it tied down on my roof. Been in the moving business I have complete confidence in the rope and how I tie it down.

There are rednecks in every race and country. Id say you did great on the purchase. It wont be long till you are tired of not having suspension and you will be looking to upgrade.
