Problem Contacting Seller- Anyone else ever ran into this situation?

I bought a small item and have ran into some shipping issues through no fault of anyone but the USPS. I tried contacting the seller but a banner pops up requesting credit card info to contact them. I say bullship to that so I opened a case to contact them. I didn't know what else to do. We are getting this sorted out and I will be leaving 100% positive feedback but I just don't get the credit card crap for contacting?

I wouldn't do it either, and it seems like a really good way to lose business.
