tHIS THING WILL RIP IN FIRST GEAR WITH CHOKE HALF ON.yOU SHIFT INTO SECOND,ITLL BOG THEN SPEED UP.3RD GEAR FORGET IT.IT BOGS DOWN AND DIES.IVE CLEANED EVERY JET AND PILOT POSSIBLE WHILE ALSO CHECKING GAS TANK SCREEN WHICH IS GONE,JUSTA PIECE OF METAL TUBING REMAINS.WHATS NEXT STEP,I JUST WANT SOMETHING TO RIDE,NOT A RACER. PS-HOW MUCH 10W30 GOES IN CASE?I CANT EVEN SEE IT IN THERE AND I JUST BOUGHT THIS THING. THANKS

Mine was doing this exact same thing its the SPARK PLUG it may look good but its fouled go to your auto parts store and ask them for a plug for a yamaha 125 cause they might have the wrong plug in it right now 2 mine has a plug that was a inch shorter than it sholud be
Also for the crank case oil look on the bottom right its a oil check plug take that out put oil in till it drips or runs out then put plug in

Whats the plug gap please?Also,if thats not the problem,should opn the slide more or allow more gas through the float?

I put the new plug in at.032 gap.Ran a bit better.I moved the c clip to the bottom notch on the slide,that actually allowed it to wind out on 3rd gear.Then it went back to bogging.I enriched the float,now the carb overflows and it still bogs.Is the needle bad to the float?The original owner changed it with a rubber tip one.If its quicker to get a carb,please someone sell me one that works.this seems like a fun machine for kids.
