127359127360127361127362127363127364127365I just bought 2 last week. I found them on craigslist. The 84 I got from the original owner for 600 and the 85 for 800. The 84 is all original. The 85 has a motoplat? electrical system and a coffmans pipe. They both need some tlc ,suspension on both and leaking carbs on both.

What kind of carb is on the 85? Just curious if there is more done to it than piped and motoplat? Good deal on both and they look great.. Good score..

The carbs are stock on both. On the 85 the seller said he bought it from a friend who put a motoplat stator on it. The bike fired up cold with a couple of kicks seemed to run ok but gas was leaking from the bottom of the carb. I have no idea on any work done to the motor. The 84 had only had been re-ringed once, never had the engine removed.

I was going to buy a pretty nice 86 but it was not running for 1500. I thought it was better to get an 84 and 85 for 1400 instead. I actually think they look better. If the guy would have worked a little on his price I might have bought the 86.He was not advertising it and kind of wanted to hold onto it.If I get some xtra dough I might still buy it.

Looks nice. BIGGER PICS!!!!
Also the leaky carb problem might be because your floats are stuck. Mine will do it if it sits for more than a minute without running, but I don't know why.

I would have bought the 86 for that if it's in good cosmetic condition. It's not hard to diagnose what's wrong with these things. could have been something as simple as a bad connection, or bad kill switch.
