My brother brought his 250R up from CA so we could ride the OR dunes. We had been gathering parts to do the swingarm swap and also a 310 kit at the same time. For the bottom of the frame where the linkage attaches we had some stainless bushings made. We just rummaged through our bolt collection until we found one of the correct length at the bottom, it is a suspension bolt from a 90's CR500. For the top shock mount, I used a bushing from a TRX450R link. I cut it in half and ground it down until it fit in the top shock mount. The rest is a bolt on affair, we used 08 TRX450r carrier, brakes and axle. The custom axis shock I bought off Ebay was sold as a stock length shock, but it is actually an inch shorter than stock length. It will go back and I will find another shock to go on. The ESR 310 kit went on with no issues, and runs as it should. Once I get the correct shock, I will turn my attention to the front. We are going to run inverts and I will get one of Jason's kits for that.

It looks awesome! When you get it done, hit me up and let me know when you're riding, maybe I can meet you out there.

A set of Jason Halls 450R peg adapters, very nice. I modified them a bit for our big feet. I used the forward mounting hole for both the bracket and the 450R peg. I then drilled and tapped a new hole for the forward peg mounting hole. I will trim off the excess. Less weight, less leverage against the frame and custom! What more could you want?

folding pegs lol! how is the shock mount on the swinger in relation to the stocker? i mean as far as shock angle and needed length for shock. nice job btw

The pegs are not folding....solidly mounted. The 250r shock is longer and the linkage is very different dimensionally. However, the upper shock mount on the frame is the same (or at least, very close) as is the linkage mount on the bottom of the frame. So, basically, it is the same from bike to bike. I used 06 and up parts, and bought the axis shock that was advertised as an 07 stock length. However, it is 04/05 length. I am still waiting to hear back from the seller before I open a dispute with Ebay and Paypal. The bike sits too low because of the too short shock. Disappointing, not sure if the seller is just confused or what. He has 100% good feedback so I am sure he will take it back.
