just picked up a very nice 79 atc 110 a couple of weeks ago, runs pretty good. carb could use a rebuild, needs a new air filter, maybe adjust the valves, etc.

I put a new set of points i had on it, and while i was adjusting them, i noticed the points arcing with the cover off. I figured i would rip the new condenser off of a project 90 i was working on, and have it done in no time. well, i had no clue that this 110 has a coil with a condenser that looks like its permanently attached.

can i just splice one in from the parts store, and cut the old one off? if not, can i just pop on my atc 90 coil and condenser, and use that?

really don't wanna spend 115 for a new correct coil at dr atv.....

Coils will interchange but the wiring harness is different from 90 to 110 . The 90 coil has a few more wirers .
