My friend has a 83 200e, and last time we were out, we were tearing down a dirt road, and the tires locked up solid. Couldnt pull it over at all. Thought it was hot, let it sit, pulled again, fired right up and way she went. Thought that we may have roasted the rings, but the bike runs fine after it locked up and went over 4 times. Compression is good.
I heard that there is some sort of bearing in the casing; tranny bearing, that seizes to the shaft or breaks apart or something.
Has anyone ever had this issue?
