E-Start 200 series motors bolt up in a 1986 200s? My main concern is that if the E start will clear the frame and if the H/L box will have clearance also.

I'm 110% sure that the bolt pattern is the same. Its just the H/L box and the starter that worry me.

Hi/Lo box should not be an issue but the starter certainly will. The E-series bikes have the same frame but it is factory "relieved" at the starter. You can achieve the same results with some heat and a hammer.:twisted:

i think the 200sx quad motors will fit right in if you get one that the starters ontop of the cases instead of infront.

Unless you already have the engine, go Chinese (Lifan/Loncin) or CRF230 ($$).
