1995 c250 HELP "pro circuit"

i bought a bike today for a guy who says he got this 250 off a pro rider. well the bike has no vin at all any where on it. the frame is reiforce from the factory never been repainted. is it true that pro bikes dont have vins? he handed me a neck from a 1979 suzuki and said the privious owner was using that to register the 250 for its green sticker. any riders out heard of such thing? i went throught the entire bike when i got home no vin at all:wondering

did you see a vin on the motor? my CR had a vin on the neck and motor around clutch basket side. maybe ya gotjeremy mcgraths old bike but his was based of a 93 cr 250 frame same thing though. post a pic

Both of my Honda Factory bikes had no vin 1993 CR 250 and my 1995 those two bikes the head tube and the backbone were the only thing original the rest was custom . I had a 2008 250 F and it had no number either . Jeremy McGraths steel framed bikes all but 1 were destroyed . 1 lives in a museum in Ohio and one of his aluminum frame Hondas are at his house . He has not called me back to tell me if they had vins . . All of my other factory bikes came with vins .

ok im an idiot i call the guy i got it from today and he told me the bike is a supercross bike and the reason it doesnt have a vin was because it was never ment for desert riding and the guy who owned it was in the baja 500. if that helps
