Im new to the site, literally just activated my account. Anyway, I recently got a YTM200EL (Yamaha Big Bear, 1983) and it just refuses to start. Im curious if the little drain pipe looking thing on the bottom of the carb would cause this? It leaks gas very slightly when your trying to crank it, and if i need to i can upload pictures.

Already done:
Carb Cleaner, took it apart and cleaned everything good
New fuel line, fuel runs great
Changed spark plug
Changed breather filter
Changed Oil
Put real gas in it (no ethanol)
New battery- It has a starter and all, and the other day it worked fine, rode it around all day and when I put it up it was still working good

your flooding out your motor, the float is either not adjusted right or the float needle is not sealing, going to need to fully clean the carb and make adjustments, also when we say fully clean we mean take everything out of it, and clean the float needle seat has an o-ring that seals as well which you will see when you totally disassemble it, you might need to replace that. Also check to see if you have adequate spark, might need to cut 1/4 inch of plug wire off, or get a new spark plug now especially after having a flooding issue cleaning it prolly won't fix it cause there is a very good chance you fouled it out. And if it is a three wheeler is is not a big bear but if it is a four wheeler it is. went back a reread your post if you really cleaned the carb good is a good chance the float needle has a groove in the rubber tip, which causes lack of sealing float height, or the o-ring I told you about which all of the above will cause havoc with flooding out.

Sticker says big bear, and its a 3 wheeler, i guess the other owner may have changed it
anyway:
Carbs been completely took apart and cleaned. Spark plug is not dirty. Ill check the o ring on the needle. And would me removing the jets cause a problem? (i put them back of course, but i doubt they are turned exactly as they were)

what did you clean the carb with, ie: pipe cleaners q-tips, did you use torch tip files or anything, just curious about debris that could have been left behind, also the mix screw goes about from full seat 1 1/2 turns out. umm like I said the float needle's rubber tip can be worn and the the o-ring on the seat when you pull the float there is a screw on a metal plate, well remove the screw and the plate and the hook, and the bronze seat itself pulls right out the o-ring in question will be on the bronze seat I know about this because I had the same issue with mine and that o-ring.

cleaned it with Carb Cleaner, soaked it with different carb stuff (uncle is a certified mechanic and he just brought it from work), and a "gentle flow of air" from our air compressor. There is no debris to speak of, and all the seals are fine except for the rubber washer looking thing on the choke.
By no debris i mean it literally just looks like new metal. No Build-ups or old gas in it.
