This tank came came on an 83 185s but is too big, doesn't match the contours of the fenders, and has a slightly different mounting bracket or the rear as an older or sport 185/200. I am thinking it is from a big 200M, or ES type of big red. The outside is faded with a few dings but it is defiantly serviceable. Not much rust inside at all. 30min with a rust remover treatment and it would look like new inside.

It fits the bike fine but looks a little chubby. Unfortunately I'm going to have to look for the proper tank for this bike and will just clean this one up and put it on Ebay. I really never plan on getting a Big Red besides a 250. I already have a 110,185,and 200.

Speaking of, I have two brand spanking new ones with the nipples on the back of my Yamaha Blaster that I bought a wallmart like 5 years ago because it was the only thing in stock, right before someone blew my motor. I am going to put them on the rear of the 185s and put one of the used ones on the front. 22-11-9 is way to much tire for a Blaster. I have a like new set of 25's on my 200 also.
