The guy said it was his wife's son's and hes not sure what / if anything wrong with it, I guess they even have the title to it but couldn't find it so if they do they'll call and let me know, so tomorrow i'm going to try and fix the pull start and make sure its got compression and turns over, if i end up getting git running it will be going to my niece, my nephew is getting a atc 90 some time this week for his b-day.

damn I am so jealos lol I see so many parts on that that I could use on my 125m, which has a freshly rebuilt motor. I think those might be the original tires as they are the same pattern that mine has

yea hopefully they just broke the pull cord and didn't know / feel like fixing it, the rear plastics are in good shape there just 1 small crack, it even has the glove box door and the tool kit it, not sure if its all there though compared to the 1 in my 200x it feels like it may be missing a few

will do :), couldn't keep my mind off it even though its dark out and i don't have a good garage, ended up using the porch light and a flash light too take the pull case off and it looks like the pull cord broke off at the end there's a lil nub left, so i'll need a new 1.. can i use the rope from a push mower pull cord and re wind it in the 110 case?, i twisted it by hand on the motor and its not froze up so that should be a good sign, also the gas tanks gonna need a good cleaning looks like they left gas in it.. there still a tiny bit in the bottom corner.

almost forgot, anyone know how to remove the rear plastics / seat ? couldn't figure it out in the dark and don't want to break them

Great find. It looks like it needs a little love, but don't they all. If you have the reinforced pull cord, as long as it's the same size and not bigger, you should be fine. With that rust in the tank, make sure you run disposable inline fuel filters to catch any rust particles before they make it to your carb. Different people have had different results with different kinds of rust treatment. Make sure to keep an eye on the disposable fuel filter, cause if you get enough rust in the filter, it will clog and leave you stranded, which is no fun at all. But those disposable filters are cheap and easy enough to change out and are small enough to keep a spare with your tool kit, along with a spare new spark plug. And please do me a little favor...Change the title of your thread to "85 110". Thanks for that. I've got issues! LOL

the seat has a latch on the right side by the tank that if you pull it towards the back it will let the seat and fenders come loose

eh i feel dumb for missing that but it was dark out lol, dose anyone know what way or dose it madder what way the pull cord is wrapped?

yes it matters, wrong way would be turning the engine backwards. you want to wrap it so the recoil action "recoils" the cord back once you pull it out. otherwise it wont go back in.

well i think i did it the right way i basically let it coil it self and it takes about 75% of the cord back in, and it has compression hardly pulled on it just to see and some rust flew out the exhaust, so hopefully after cleaning out the carb changing the oil and figuring out something to use as a gas tank till i can figure out how to clean the stock 1 it will fire up

that gas tanks fine, just put rocks and gas in it and swish it around and dump it out, long as the gas comes out mostly clear its fine, my tanks way worse and the gas comes out clear. you can start it by rolling down a hill in 1st with the shifter down and slowly let it out itll go into 2nd and start running, put fresh gas in it and a new plug first but if the carb and engine is good itll start when u do that, and that way you can tell what it will need before you spend the time getting rope pulling apart the starter wrapping it etc.

i used a lawnmower rope i had laying around, cleaned the carb, just need some new gas hose and to clean the tank and get a new spark plug and hope she fires

anyone know if the spark plug from my 200x is the same gap as the 110? or even the same size spark plug? i know a spark plug is only like 4 bucks but i don't have the money right now..

timing is off 180* or there is an issue with air mixing with the gas

BiGDawG

got it to idle for a few seconds by dumping gas in the carb so i think the carb is dirty and needs to be cleaned better

but i'm glad it runs! xD

when I clean carbs I use carb cleaner, torch tip files*shame on me* and compressed air. make sure all the pathways are clear and you pull and clean all the jets, be in depth and take your time doing it. make sure to replace the old o-rings and make sure everything goes back in the proper order, the blown up diagrams on babbitts auto sports will help
