Hello. This is my first post. I just bought a 85 200s but it has a 250x front Rim and disk brake but the axle was bent. I purchased a 250x axle online but it is too short. (13 1/2"). The axle that is on the trike is 15 3/4". They look identical other than the length. Does anyone know what model and year axle I'd need to buy. Thanks in advance. Ps the length is end to end

maybe they got you the wrong part, you would think that if thats what came out it should go back in! Id double check everything and maybe swear at it a few times too, usually works for me!

I'm not sure if it is an x axle. Or a s axle, the rim looks like a x. The distance between the forks is 12" .

There are some 200 axles on ebay. I would like to see a pic of your bike with that front rim.

I'd be tempted to try bikebandit.com to see if
parts numbers give any indication.
They've got exploded parts diagrams for almost anything.

I sent 4 messages to different people on e-bay last night. Haven't got a response on their length yet. I'll try to get a few pics on here tonight.

I am total computer illiterate. I've tried to upload my pictures for the last 2 hours, I quit! I got two pictures to my album but can't get them to this thread. If you want to see them please look at my album.

Sorry still can't upload pictures . But I did straighten the axle. Atleast enough to ride. I figure its just a 200s axle because it has home made spacers and the front forks look stock. Anyway thanks
