i have a 85 250 big red the brake pedal will not come back up when you push it down the spring is not on right it is hooked to the pedal on one end but the other isnt hooked to nothing so the spring just spins and doesnt pull the pedal back up where does the bottom end of the spring hook i cannot find anthing to hook it to

when i look at it the top of the spring hooks around the top of the brake lever the bottom doesnt grap anything that dagram i cant see what is supposed to grab the bottom

my 87 simply hooks on top of the brake pedal and then stops itself against the
frame mount.
Maybe if you try to spin it once around it will wind itself up?
I'll try to take a pic after I get home.
Did it ever work?
is it new to you?
does the spring look like it broke off?
I assume the wheel actuators work smoothly, not that it matters much relative to the pedal itself.
