Ive been riding three wheelers as long as I can remember but am fairly new to 3ww. Since Ive joined Ive got my T3 running again and now the first thing I do in the morn is check this site out. Im an addict!!!! I get addicted to things easily and they usually go away quick but 3ww is here to stay, unless my wife finds out how much money Ive been spending and how much I plan on spending! Well there is always divorce as long as I keep my toys, Ha ha. Just kidding dear!!! Is there others out there like me that eat, sleep, and fantasize about the next project or ride etc.. so much that it could possible ruin a marrige!!

Ruin a marriage? That's a good one! LOL Marriages have been ruined for far less. Are some members on here more than enthusiasts? Well, yah! LOL There are people on here that have searched the world over to find parts to complete a true restoration. There are people on here who have bought a trike just to get that one certain part off it that they have been looking for. There are members who buy a truckload of rusty crap and just think they have struck gold. So please, don't think you are the only person with issues! LOL

i am also completely addicted. i check 3WW when i first wake up on my iPhone while in bed. i check it all throughout the day. i have too many projects to even finish right now and i have no problem with buying more parts and more trikes. i love it. this is a place for addicts.

I have 3ww on my phone as well. it is always open when I browse, I go on just to read stuff about what people are saying and always browsing for parts I might need, even if the part I buy is not broken yet lol.

Before I open the doors and turn on the lights in the shop I open 3ww every day. I find myself clicking "whats new?" so often sometimes there is nothing new.

Mine likes the pictures of the shiney trikes and
considers this 'hobby' as a legitimate support group activity.
..almost counts for college credits.

Plus she always gets her choice of the coolest trike in the barn,
which seems to change fairly regularly simply because of this site.

Just remember that most excuses and rationalizations can be considered warning signs

I also spend a ton of time on 3ww and am addicted to trikes. I have 3ww on my blackberry, I'm on it all the time. I check it all the time. Its my homepage for my blackberry and my home computers. I've gotten my father REALLY addicted to them aswell. Him and I spend tons of time on kijiji looking for some deals. Its truely an addiction, but its a damn good hobby.

Just think about the LURKERs....who only swoop in and buy, never posting...always searching. Looking endlessly for deals and rare items often found on this site. Never posting pictures of their Trike Caves with every model and make you could imagine. No posting bragging words of I got that or I've got 2 of those...There out there! in the corner with a wad of cash and their trigger finger is on the bid now button. These addicts don't even make a sound or peep. They just show up in cash or money order...with a thankyou goodbye....Can't imagine not facing my addication everymorning...Thanks3WW:lol:

They're just cheap to buy when neglected or forgotten and require very little
money to get running.
...they need to be saved.
...and they're worth so much more than we pay for them.
...and you can ride them.
....we're preserving history

...and we're saving petrochemicals from being wasted on making that extra tire.

Im addicted for sure! I get on here at least 3 times a day, at home & on my phone at work! I have been riding ATV's since I was 7 yrs old, but didn't get my first 3 wheeler until I was 23. Im now 27 & have a Big Red 250 & a 350/400X and plans for more in the near future. I live & breathe 3 wheelers!

I buy parts and full trikes I don't need or want, I wake up to 3ww and go to bed with 3ww. my fiance thought I was the only one that had it this bad until she met raffa triz 250 and the rest of the guys out at the airmx race a couple weeks ago. now she is supportive of my addiction. I don't know if I should thank you guys or mf you for also supporting my addiction

Well, I was at marrige counseling today my 3ww addiction came up and he was actually supportive and said well thats a good thing and you could probably make money at it, better than the drinkin problem I used to have so maybe she will lighten up a little bit, or not. Ha ha!! It is what it is and I love it! Next time I go to the counselor I will have to say that Ben... Im Dave and Im a 3 wheeler junkie. Thanks for the idea!!!

I have a problem...... I can't get trikes out of my head I eat sleep and trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro trikes. Its so hard for uses younger trikers who don't make alot of money or don't even have a job at all, but we can dream about the day when we own a 87 250r. lol

Now thats a true addict, gotta replace one with the other. Try and keep sales reciepts hid better than your history and your ok. Ha ha!! We just got done looking at a local camp ground with race tracks and looks sweet but signs say dirt bikes and quads, so I told her NO F.IN WAY if they dont let 3 wheelers are we gonna be there. But if they do we are in like Flynn baby!!! Called Breezewood Proving Grounds in PA. Anyone know for sure if they do or not?? Would love to get the Tecate out and tear it up a bit but if not Im not interested!!! 3WW for life!!!

This thread sounds like a trike rehab thread. The first step is to admit your addicted but unlike drug rehab you can never be cured so the last step is to own all trikes every make and model. Beetween this site craigslist and diesel power mag I spend 98% of the time on the 3 when I'm online. Best part about this site is seeing all the custom builds. Started my 3 wheeling addiction at age 12 with a mint 84 honda 110. Now I enjoy my 82 250r.:TrikesOwn

Well the way this marrige counselor is workin out I may not have to worry bout leaving her home!! Air mx looks freekin awesome and been working on it for at least two weeks now! Jewlery would probably do it, she got to many purses as it is, well jewlery and shoes and clothes and pets and.....wait I thought I was the addict here!!!! Funny how that works!!

Do you also find yourself lying when she is at work on stuff like of course I did that, knowing damn well you been on here or working on or riding your trike. Gonna have to start a 12 step program. We have no problem admitting we have a problem, sometimes the prob is a hard to find part or tech problems and each other can be our counselors. Not saying that all counselors are correct as in many situations!!!

yea, or when she unexpectedly comes home for lunch and a trike is mysteriously on a jack stand and wheels and hubs are off and some sanded down and some have a fresh coat of spray-on bedliner......
