Does anyone know if a 24mm Mikuni flatslide carb will fit on a 200X without any frame/intake mods?

I believe it's time for a new carb (I think 27 years old is old enough, not that it doesn't work..) and i'm just browsing around for a name brand.

I would recemend you got a carb that was MADE for a 4 poke. Reason being,2 stroke carbs are very difficult to jet on a on a 4 stroke. Jets from factory are really tiny and it was made to supply a little teeny bit of fuel for a 2 smoke. It may be 24mm's but the air/fuel orifices in them are reeeally small (MADE for 2 smoke. Like a KX65 or somthing). So your going to have too spend money on a carb that going to need way more jetting than if you got say a Xr200 carb or a Fcr. Its not worth I think. And trust me. I know what I talking about.

A long time ago in the sandboxes of the West Coast, people put Mikunis on alot of different machines. Even Vw's. So it will work. It may take alot of tinkering and it may or may not work to your expectations, but it will work.

Shorty:D so whats the difference between a 2 stroke and a 4 stroke carb? jetting? woopdee they only 2 bucks each and 2 smokes usually run bigger main jets than a comparable sized 4 stroke engine
