I own an 84 ATC 125m. Just ordered a NGK DR8EIX splug for it.. Does anyone use performance or stick with stock? I use E3's in eveything I am own from vehicles to lawn mower, chainsaw, snowblower, vintage '67 Golden Jet outboard motor and ice auger. I love them but couldn't find it in the cross reference chart. I heard NGK Iridiums are the cat's meow too. What are your thoughts?

NGK Laser Iridium, normally 12 bones a pop, but I've never managed to foul one yet.

For some reason I would think the UberKraut would be using Bosch. LOL

Not a fan of Bosch at all.
On that note, I've heard NGK is the best for any older Japanese motor. I've also heard running anything that isn't NGK can rob you of performance and horsepower.

I've always used NGK in all my small engine vehicles and I have never had a problem with performance due to plug failure in any of them. I highly recommend NGK there great plugs but then again my opinion is bias sense NGK is all I've ever used.

I always run ngk plugs in all my three wheelers. As for iridium plugs i tryed one in my 200x and i didnt or feel a difference in power/performance compared to the stock plug.

Don't ever use champion plugs. Those things foul with the smallest drop of oil. I've always just tossed NGKs in my ATCs, Tried an iridium one once but didn't feel a difference.

ive always wanted to hook one of these up to my 200x . it only take 25 watts to operate, the manufactures claim better torque horse power and fuel economy. it works great on my experimental hydrogen motor

Wow torque. That thing throws a mean spark. I gotta think you'd burn up your cyclinders on a trike motor though. Deffinately worth looking into for my truck.

it does throw a hell of a spark at full power but take a look at the test tach, how many engines run at 16,000 rpm?

i know guys that run these on there 4 stroke dirt bikes.

i think the reason they run it up 16 grand is to show that the spark will not drop off.

Does anyone know if the NGK Iridium IX plugs come pregapped or not? I just got mine and I can't find my gapping tool.

What's the difference between a NGK Iridium IX and an NGK Laser Iridium? Besides about $4.
