Going to look at a 350X that has bent front forks. There is replacment forks that come with it.What worries me is that there might be damage to the trees. The machine itself is in very nice condition. It isn't like the forks are mashed back against frame. So what I want to know is how easy is it to damage the tripple trees?

yes it is... The p.o of my 250es bent the trees. Without even bending the forks. It wasn't front a collision the 350x though. He rolled it and the tree smacked a rock.
Even if the 350's are bent. they are easy to find, and easy to change..

The tree is available on E-bay fairly cheap but I would check to be sure the frame ain't tweaked or damaged. If your getting another set of forks in good condition and the trikes good the repair could be done in a day after you get everything togeather. If the price is right go for it and save another great trike from the junkyard!

Yeah 350x tripples are all over the place. (save those bent forks, they could always be staightened). Asibe from checkin the frame from damage, check the front axle/hub/wheel.
Would hate to see you starting a rebuild only to find out you didn't aquire enough parts.
It is very common for 350x forks to bend. I have parted six 350x's over the past year and only two had a set of straight forks. I have a pile of bent ones laying around that are good to rob parts off of here and there.
