OK, so I purchased a frame and some other goodies a few months ago and I'm trying to build it back into a 3wheeler... its a true frankenstein bike... anyway, I purchased a complete front brake setup off ebay only to find the caliper bracket doesn't work... then I bought steering stem bearings only to find out they dont fit either. So I did some looking around and I think I have a 350x triple tree and forks.... (which came with the frame when I purchased it) apparently thats how this bike was set up. Has anyone ever seen or heard of anyone doing this.. is it worth it to buy the proper steering stem and forks, or is the 350x an upgrade?? any advice would be great.

The 350X forks are 4MM's smaller but it does have a dual piston caliper. Little shorter, less sturdy, a bit less travel, but, it may suit your needs just fine...........
