need help can't get 200x to idle right it races and stalls

i got a 85 honda 200x it won't idle right it idles high and if i shake bike the idle drops when riding it sticks at high idle until i goose it then drops it will stall when riding i also noicted gas leaking out of the overflow tube any ideas thanx

Bad float springs(leaking), intake leak from the carb to the motor causing stall while stabbing the gas.

Check the O-Ring on the intake manifold where it goes onto the engine. If that is bad it'll cause a lean condition. Always good to check em each time you take the carb off.
