TRIZ/ Banshee Thumb Throttle Question

I see that they discontinued the 86 TRIZ throttle cable. I hear that a 250r cable works for the 85 TRIZ. My question is does the 250R cable work with the banshee thumb throttle?? If so, which year 250R cable? With all the reading i have done on the forums, i beleive most people said the 85 250r one fits. Is this correct?
