how to delete files from file manager???

I just wanna put some pics up but when I try to upload them I get an error message telling me that it exceeds the 250 kb limit. how do I delete files? or get new pics uploaded? is it really this hard to put up pics? I am computer tarded so please dummy it down for me

I've been trying to load pics since Friday. Billy worked on it most of the day yesterday. I can't do it. Tried straight from the card,loaded into Iphoto,and photobucket. All failed. Still gonna try imageshack when I get time.
